Easy Customizable Crocheted Scarf Pattern

I use a size H hook, but you can use whatever size you desire. Keep in mind there a some skipped sts with dc's, so depending on how wide you want the gaps to be, choose your hook.

Scarf Pattern:
Row 1: Ch as wide as you would like the scarf to be (this is for width, not length). For baby scarves, I chain 16, for adults, 32 is generally a good width. Turn. Row 2: 1 Sc in second chain from hook and in each chain to end. (15 sts) Turn. Repeat Row 2 two or three times if you would like to sew an applique to the scarf. Row 3: Ch 1, skip 1 sc, 1 dc in next sc, repeat to end of row. Ch 1, Turn. Row 4: 1 sc in each ch to end of row. Turn. Repeat rows 3 and 4 until you get the length of the scarf you desire. Last row: 1 sc in each st around the scarf (sides, bottom, and top) Fasten off and sew in ends.

Hello All!

I am new to this whole blogging thing, in fact this is my very first blog! If you read my about me section, it gives a little bit of info about me. I love to crochet! Right now, that is my primary job. I have my own E-Store, which is doing okay, and I also sell on Ebay, which I have had no luck with yet! I spend the majority of my day cleaning the house, it's amazing with two people how much a neat freak can still find to do. Witht the rest of my time, I crochet. I get bored with blankets, so right now my thing is baby clothes. They are so cute and fast to make! I find basic patterns and combine stitches, invent my own patterns, and make them my own. I just think baby clothes are so sweet! Anyways, that's my blog for the day:) Have a wonderful day all!!!
